We are very excited for the second summer of the Magic of Art Summer Day Camp in 2018!
K and A Camps, creators of “Magic for Muggles” Summer Day Camp, are pleased to announce an additional summer program located at St. John’s Parish Hall entitled “Magic of Art.”
Headed up by a creative and entertaining veteran art teacher from Glenfield School, Catherine Kondreck, this camp will be offered for one session only – the week of July 30th. It’s open to children between the ages of 8 and 13. Through a variety of fun and challenging artistic projects, our goal is to open the magical world of art to everyone. Ms. Kondreck intends to develop a child’s artistic abilities, help them expand their imagination, and have fun!
The camp size will be limited to no more than 20 children so students will get plenty of individual attention. Activities will take place indoors and outdoors. Some of the activities offered will be casting in plaster, drawing and painting, creating sculptures, and making wearable art. Keeping with a “magical” theme, students will be making potions, charms, masks, jewelry, and more.
This camp is the perfect follow-up to “Magic for Muggles,” as if Harry Potter were to take art at Hogwarts – simply magical!
Summer 2018 Session: July 30 – August 3, 9am – 1pm daily.
