Magic, Wizards, Adventure, Fun!

Registration for the 2022 Summer Session starts in January.

We will once again be open for Summer 2022 by following the CDC suggested guideline for summer camps and limiting enrollment. We know that these camps are more than just a place to send kids in the summer, it is a magical place where you choose to send YOUR kids – and we are grateful for your trust and support.

We are very excited for the sixth summer of Fantastic Beasts (and How to Create Them) Summer Day Camp!

K and A Camps, creators of
“Magic for Muggles” Summer Day Camp, are pleased to announce an additional summer program located at St. John’s Parish Hall entitled “Fantastic Beasts”

Headed up by a creative and entertaining veteran art teacher from Glenfield School, Catherine Kondreck, this camp will be offered for one session only in 2022 – the week of August 1st. It’s open to children between the ages of 7 and 13. Through a variety of challenging group and individual projects, our goal is to open the magical world of “Fantastic Beasts” – based on J.K. Rowling’s book – to all students. Ms. Kondreck intends to help develop your child’s creative abilities, expand their imagination, and, most importantly, have fun in a unique setting!

The camp size will be limited to no more than 30 children so students will get plenty of individual attention.  Students can wear their HP garb if they wish, as they will be sorted into Hogwarts houses. Some of the activities offered will be calligraphy writing, designing a “Monster Book of Monsters” that comes to life, three dimensional “wanted” posters, plaster sculptures of fantastic beasts, creating Marauder Maps with invisible ink, and many more “Harry Potter” themed ideas!

This camp is the perfect follow-up to “Magic for Muggles Summer Day Camp”. If Harry Potter were to take a magical crafts course at Hogwarts, this would be it!

Summer 2022 Session: August 1st-5th, 9am – 1pm daily. Cost: $250
